Warrings dry cleaners insurance, provides optimum cover for you and your customers

A new national scheme is planned to help customers choose drycleaners with recognised quality standards that include adequate dry cleaning insurance.

The Guild of Cleaners and Launderers has announced the proposals so that clients can benefit from useful information about standards of service at cleaners across the UK.

Any cleaning outlet, store or collection point signing up for the scheme must meet a satisfactory standard to be awarded a quality assurance seal of approval.

To cover the cost of administering and advertising the scheme, firms will have to pay a subscription which will include a site inspection.

The scheme will be designed to cover all aspects of running a drycleaners. Operating procedures, staffing, equipment, health and safety, legislation and maintenance are all due to be assessed.

Sometimes the worst can happen and it is important drycleaning insurance is in place - whether liability or buildings cover - to protect consumers as well as the business.
