Warrings dry cleaners insurance, provides optimum cover for you and your customers
It is anticipated that over the coming two years finding cheap insurance for dry cleaners will become more important than ever before. This speculation comes after accountancy group BDO announced that the rate of business failure would rise until the end of 2010.
Experts predict businesses in the dry cleaning section will aim to cut costs across all areas, whether it is laying off staff or seeking the cheapest available dry cleaners insurance, in order to prevent themselves being counted among the 36,200 businesses BDO predicts will fail in 2009; the rate of failure is expected to rise to 40,400 by 2010.
Shay Bannon, BDO's head of business restructuring, told the The Times, "Business failures in Britain are rising unabated as the fallout of the economic downturn becomes ever clearer. Consumer spending is set for a steep contraction in 2009 and households will continue to be hit by rising unemployment, weaker earnings growth and reduced perceived wealth levels due to declining asset prices."
The news will cause concern to many of the 3,600 businesses in Britain that currently possess insurance for dry cleaners, with failures in the personal services sector expected to rise 55.9 percent in 2009, to 1910, then rising by a further 3,690 in 2010.
